MINISTER- Reverend Jonathan Drury exclaims that he is thrilled to have been called by the First Congregational Church in Falmouth to be its settled Pastor!  Jonathan feels he has been actively pursuing God’s call to Christian ministry since he was in adolescence. Jonathan studied cultural Anthropology and Comparative Religion at Bates College and then attended Andover Newton Theological School where he received his Masters of Divinity degree.  He was called to serve South Church in Andover as Director of Youth Ministry in 2002 and completed his call at South Church as Associate Pastor in June, 2012.

Jonathan views himself as a compassionate person, a good communicator, and a hard worker. He models his love for people on the love demonstrated by Jesus Christ, and has always felt called to care for folks who appear to have been carelessly disregarded or marginalized by the world.  Jonathan approaches his ministry with humility, and recognizes he is called to bring people’s attention to the Gospel.  He tries to do this in his life by sharing the good news of Christ’s story and by helping folks to recognize the presence of God’s Spirit all around them.

Our Minister enjoys theater and singing and has been performing in one way or another his whole life.  He has been an enthusiastic participant in community theater productions and looks forward to discovering the performance opportunities that Falmouth has to offer.

Jonathan’s time away from the Church is shared with his wonderful wife, Jolie, and their three beautiful sons, Nathaniel, Gideon, and Elijah.  Jonathan says living with three boys under the age of ten keep he and his wife busy, but it also means they are swimming in love… in his opinion there is nothing better!

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
- Mrs. Martha Evans oversees our busy Church Office.  Martha came to Cape Cod, and to our church, in 1992 from Laramie, Wyoming.  Her educational emphasis was in vocal performance and she has a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Wyoming and Masters of Music degrees in Voice and Opera Production from Florida State University.

She and her husband, David, have a grown son and daughter.

MUSIC DIRECTOR- Mr. John J. Dulina is the Director of Music and the conductor of all of the choirs at the church.

Mr. Dulina has performed and conducted across the United States, Canada, and Italy. Formerly the Music Director at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury, CT, under his direction, the Adult Choir was invited to sing in Rome Italy for a public concert a high Latin Liturgy and in particular for Pope John Paul II. His talents cover a wide range of music from Gregorian Chant to contemporary compositions.  He has conducted and performed major works of the masters including Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Vivaldi, and Stainer.

In addition, Mr. Dulina has educated hundreds of people about the history of music, not only the theoretical details, but also how music and art are truly products of the social, political and economic structures in place during a particular period.  He has always had a special interest in teaching and believes that whether one is playing an instrument or learning to appreciate music in its listening form, one begins to realize that music is not only the universal language of humankind, but of the human heart as well.  He is the founder and former Director of Music Education at The Renaissance Center – “A Conservatory of Music” in Southbury, CT.  His work at the Renaissance Center earned him an award in “Who’s Who of Entrepreneurs for 2000”

John’s recorded works have included QUEST { a project for the Archdiocese of Hartford, John was co-music director, organist and guitarist for the 50 voice choir}, “Holiday Silhouette”, a joint project with a soprano vocalist and most recently “Simply Christmas” a collection of solo piano reflections on Christmas tunes.

He served as Music Director/ Conductor of the Heritage Singers for ten years. John has held several executive positions on board of directors and most recently as a Vice President at Webster Bank in CT.

John currently serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Greater Falmouth Mostly All Male Men’s Chorus.

DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
- Mrs. Lisa McGillicuddy oversees FCC Kids, Summer of Service Camp (SOS Camp) and the Wednesday morning Playtime Group.

As a child, Lisa attended the Congregational (Village) Church in Wellesley, MA where she fondly remembers singing in the children’s choir and being a part of her “extended church family.” After graduating from Babson College with a BS degree, Lisa worked in various sales and marketing positions across the country.

In 1996 she moved to Falmouth with her husband, Dennis, a scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. They have two daughters, Corinne, a college student and Charlotte, who is enrolled in the Falmouth Public Schools.

ORGANIST
- Mr. John Dulina, our Music Director, plays the organ for all Sunday and special services.
